    New Delhi, 30 January, 2014: The Ambassador of Israel, Mr. Alon Ushpiz, arrived today in Jaipur to meet the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ms. Vasundhara Raje, with the aim to further promote mutual cooperation between Israel and the State of Rajasthan.
    The Chief Minister and the Ambassador discussed various ways of expanding cooperation in agriculture, water and renewable energy. They examined the activity of the Centers of Excellence in agriculture in Kota and Basi and other ways to deepen the Rajasthan-Israel joint collaboration in agriculture, focusing on the similar climatic conditions and challenges of the two states. They focused as well on solar energy and suitable water treatment solutions for the benefit of the people of Rajasthan.
    The Chief Minister and the ambassador also suggested ways to increase the number of Israeli tourists visiting the State of Rajasthan.
